@my-swu/simulator-client / MatchQuickPhrase
Type Alias: MatchQuickPhrase
MatchQuickPhrase =
"greetings"|"goodLuck"|"wellPlayed"|"thinking"|"oops"|"goodGame"
Defined in: packages/ts-sdk/src/generated/types/common.ts:4155
One canned phrase a client may send in match chat.
Canned phrases are the only chat allowed at a table holding an anonymous seat: a fixed set carries no moderation surface, so there is nothing to report and nobody who needs to be held accountable for it.
The list therefore has to live here rather than only in the client. The anonymity gate keys off recognising a phrase, so a client-side allowlist would be no allowlist at all — anything wearing the prefix would walk straight through it.
Phrases travel as a stable token instead of localized prose so both players read them in their own language.
Example:
import type { MatchQuickPhrase } from '@my-swu/simulator-client'
const matchQuickPhrase: MatchQuickPhrase = "greetings"
console.log(matchQuickPhrase)
